Position Summary
We seek experienced financial advisors or planners passionate about building long-term relationships and delivering comprehensive financial planning services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on continuous learning, values teamwork, and prioritizes building trust and rapport with clients rather than focusing on one-time transactions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating significant revenue (GDC of $150k+), demonstrate commitment to professional development, and be driven to collaborate with internal and external partners—including Centers of Influence (COIs) such as CPAs, attorneys, and property & casualty (P&C) specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by developing customized financial plans that address their unique goals and needs.
- Continually review and adjust strategies to reflect changes in client life circumstances, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and drive revenue growth to meet or exceed annual GDC goals of $150k+.
- Develop strong relationships with current and prospective COIs, such as CPAs, attorneys, and P&C professionals, to expand referral networks and enhance client offerings.
Collaborative Planning:
- Work with fellow financial professionals within the network and Libre’s internal team to ensure seamless, comprehensive service delivery.
- Contribute insights and expertise to team discussions, assist in financial planning scenarios, and support colleagues' development.
Professional Development & Continuous Learning:
- Commit to ongoing education, keeping up-to-date with industry trends, product offerings, tax law changes, and regulatory updates.
- Pursue advanced credentials (if not already held) to demonstrate expertise and elevate the level of advice provided to clients.
Compliance & Operational Excellence:
- Adhere strictly to all firm policies, FINRA and SEC regulations, and state insurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records in alignment with regulatory and firm standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of successful financial services industry experience
Licenses & Certifications:
- FINRA Series 6, 7, 65 (or equivalent) licenses in good standing.
- Applicable State insurance licenses (Life, Health, etc.) in good standing or the ability to obtain promptly.
- Credentialed with, or actively pursuing, CFP®, ChFC, CLU, RICP, AEP or similar reputable industry designations.

- Track Record: Proven ability to generate Gross Dealer Concession (GDC) of $150k+ annually or a clear plan for reaching that level.
